We will reach the park’s limits in less than an hour. Our starting point will be Sant Marçal and we will walk a path which gets high soon after. We will advance through a forest of beeches until the path becomes easier and arrives to Coll Pregón, an incomparably beautiful clear in the forest. From there we will progressively ascend to the unrivaled cross of Matagalls. The extraordinary view from the summit will be the reward to our efforts. Matagalls Peak (696 m) is Montseny’s third highest, and one of the most popular destinations among local hikers. On our way back, if so desired, we can stop at Santa Fe and visit the beautiful swamp from the beginning of the 20th century.
